Job summary

Badger Meter Inc seeks a Software Engineer II (Full Stack) to design, implement, and maintain full stack applications that convert complex data into meaningful customer insights. You will work across Python, SQL, React, Java, and REST APIs, and collaborate with product teams to deliver scalable solutions.

You will leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate development while upholding quality, reliability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing commercial software applications.
• Experience building backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database design.
• Experience across frontend and backend technologies.
• Familiarity with React or similar modern JS framework.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications.
• Build features to transform data into actionable insights.
• Work with time series data and scalable APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and other engineers.
