Job summary

Cimarron Trailers is seeking a Software Engineer with strong full‑stack web development skills for our Chickasha, OK campus. You will design, build, and maintain web apps supporting our dealer portal, parts store, and internal tools, using Next.js on the frontend with Python/PHP services and MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.

Some hardware programming for plant floor automation may be involved. You will work on a hybrid schedule with primary on-site collaboration, and you’ll contribute to code reviews,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Production web apps using Next.js and React experience.
• Backend APIs with Python and PHP experience.
• Strong MySQL and PostgreSQL data modeling and optimization.
• Git and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline experience.
• AWS deployment and server management experience.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and security basics.
• Willingness to work with hardware programming for plant floor systems.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications across frontend, backend, and DB layers.
• Build responsive, accessible UIs with Next.js and React.
• Develop backend services and APIs in Python and PHP.
• Model, optimize, and maintain MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Develop software for plant floor automation and hardware integration.
• Collaborate with product, design, operations, and other engineers.
• Write clean, tested code and promote CI/CD best practices.
• Build and maintain deployment infra on GitHub and AWS.
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming to raise quality.
• Monitor performance, reliability, and security in production.
• Suggest improvements to engineering processes and tooling.
