Job summary

On Me, a fintech gifting startup, seeks a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build end-to-end platform experiences across web and mobile. You will own projects spanning web, iOS, Android, and the backend services, delivering polished UIs, robust APIs, and scalable systems.

You will work with a small elite team from Google/Apple, shaping the tech stack and engineering culture, with hybrid offices in NYC and SF. Join a fast-paced startup and drive meaningful product impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building user-facing products.
• Strong product and UX mindset with end-to-end ownership.
• Proficient in modern web stacks: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js/Express.
• Experience in native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin).
• Experience shipping high-quality, interactive web UIs to production.
• Solid understanding of API design, data modeling, and failure modes.
• Experience designing and building APIs.
• Knowledge of scalability, caching, and fault-tolerance patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and observability tools.
• Ability to own projects from vague idea to launch in a startup.
• Strong communication and collaboration in a fast-paced team.
• Experience with frontend for consumer products.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and ship full stack features for web, iOS, and Android.
• Build polished, responsive UIs with strong attention to detail.
• Design clean APIs and connect frontend to backend systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, and team to translate goals into features.
• Drive architecture and product decisions to scale to many users and transactions.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain system health.
