Job summary

Intuitive Surgical is seeking a Full Stack Web Development Engineer to design, enhance and maintain internal websites, web apps and Python utilities. You will develop both the front-end UI and back-end services, with a Vue.js front-end and a SQL Server back-end.

You will work on cloud migration strategies (AWS/Azure) and participate in DevOps practices, CI/CD, and technical documentation. Strong communication and leadership are essential in a fast-paced, healthcare-focused team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 3+ years of industry experience as a full stack web developer.
• Full stack front-end & back-end web application development.
• Must have experience with application architecture design.
• HTML5, CSS, jquery, Ajax, Flask, FastAPI, Vue.js
• Microsoft SQL server, SQL database.
• Web technologies such as RESTful APIs, JSON, WebSocket, sockets
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Technical writing for project proposals, documentation and test
• Desired: data analytics, HighCharts, AG-grid controls

Responsibilities

• Design, enhance and maintain internal websites, web applications and stand‑alone Python applications.
• Full stack capability including front-end and back-end development.
• Front-end currently uses Vue 3; back-end runs on Linux and MS SQL Server.
• Architect and implement scalable, cloud-ready solutions.
• Collaborate across teams and document code and designs.
