Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in the Baltimore area. You will work with developers to architect, implement, test, and maintain software applications supporting advanced RF exploitation, signaling, cyber operations, and data analytics for national security domains.

You will collaborate with signal processing and communication engineers to deliver integrated solutions, document work for sponsors, and participate in field

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in CS or related field.
  • 5+ years of full stack software development with Rust, C/C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript and web frameworks.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance and be a U.S. citizen.
  • Willingness to travel limited to sponsor sites.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and test complex software solutions.
  • Collaborate with signal processing and hardware engineers on integrated systems.
  • Document work in technical reports and presentations for sponsors.
  • Participate in field evaluations and iterate based on performance and requirements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, math, or another field relevant to the duties as described above.
Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, math, or equivalent.
