Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience in production systems.
• Strong background with Python, Django, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with API development, SQL, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience building customer-facing systems from scratch in early-stage environments.
• Product mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• Based in NYC with ability to work from the Flatiron office at least 2 days/week.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure tools like AWS CDK is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the technical vision to build products customers value.
• Build and maintain customer-facing product experiences using React/TypeScript on the frontend and Python/Django on the backend.
• Develop and maintain low-latency, massively scalable developer-facing APIs.
• Maintain a robust data platform supporting the data science team.
• Partner with the team to own and improve engineering best practices and effective processes.
• Debug production issues across all levels of the stack.
• Deliver value to customers and internal stakeholders through collaboration.
