Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a software/data engineer to process analytics from structured and unstructured data, develop enterprise data solutions for investment management, and build platforms for alternative data in the US market. The role involves creating data pipelines, integrating REST API data, and deploying in AWS.

You will collaborate with investment professionals, developers, and data scientists to deliver scalable tools for Asset Management, Research, Trading, and Investment Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a technology-related field is required.
• 1+ years of enterprise development experience.
• Desire to work on a fast-paced development team with multiple tracks.

Responsibilities

• Process and generate analytics from structured and unstructured datasets.
• Develop enterprise applications and data solutions for investment management.
• Build a platform for alternative data.
• Develop custom data pipelines to extract, map, transform, and load data into data stores.
• Extract data from REST APIs and parallel process large datasets.
• Deploy and manage applications in the AWS cloud.
• Prototype ideas and rapidly deploy solutions to users.
• Integrate solutions with enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with investment professionals, business partners, application developers, database engineers, data scientists, and quantitative tool prototypers.
• Support Asset Management, Research, Trading, and Investment Operations functions with scalable investment tools.
