Job summary

STraffic America, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer II (Full-Stack) in Vienna, VA. You will design and build scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL, while supporting CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments in AWS.

You will collaborate with UI/UX, product, and operations teams in an Agile/DevOps environment, implement robust RESTful APIs, and ensure secure, maintainable software across a modern tech stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, TypeScript, React, Spring Boot, HTML/CSS.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Git-based version control, preferably GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end using React and TypeScript with responsive UI.
• Design RESTful APIs and server-side components using Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deploy in AWS environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, and document architecture.
