Job summary

Watershed, the enterprise sustainability platform, is hiring a software engineer to help ship products that customers love. You will work on APIs, data models, and pipelines enabling clear, actionable climate data, spanning backend (Node.js, Python) to frontend (React/TypeScript).

As an early team member, you’ll collaborate with product, design, climate science, and data science to iterate quickly, own features end-to-end, and contribute to scalable cloud infrastructure across our stack.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in Node.js web development or data pipelines.
• Ability to ship features end-to-end and own quality.

Responsibilities

• Build APIs, data models, and pipelines for sustainability data.
• Work across backend, frontend, and data science teams.
• Ship code to production on day one.
• Collaborate with product, design, climate science, and data science.
• Contribute to scalable, observable systems.
