Job summary

Watershed, the enterprise sustainability platform, seeks a software engineer to build and ship products with a customer-focused mindset. You will work on frontend and backend layers, including React/TypeScript, CSS, and Node.js, integrating climate data and models.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, climate science, and data science to deliver scalable solutions that help customers measure and report emissions. Office-based role requiring 4 days in person at our SF office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in Node.js web development or data pipelines.
• Experience building scalable software starting from user needs.
• Demonstrated ability to ship production-grade features in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Ship code to production on day one and iterate with product and design.
• Collaborate with product, design, climate science, and data science to build software that users love.
• Develop interactive data visualizations and APIs to unify climate data access.
