Job summary

Watershed, the enterprise sustainability platform, is seeking a software engineer to ship great products from day one. You’ll work on frontend and backend, building in React, TypeScript, CSS and Node.js, collaborating with product, design, climate science and data teams to turn user needs into scalable software.

We value customer-obsessed, outcome-oriented builders who can own features end-to-end and help evolve a growing engineering team. Office 4 days per week; some remote roles noted.

Qualifications

• Have 4+ years of software engineering industry experience, preferably in Node.js web development or data pipelines.
• Have experience building scalable software starting from user needs.
• Are excited to join a startup and are ready to help evolve a growing engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Ship code to production on day one.
• Collaborate with product, design, climate science, and data science to build and iterate on software that helps our customers understand their climate data.
• Build new interactive data visualizations to help climate leads understand their company's emissions.
• Build APIs to unify carbon data access for customers and other engineers.
