Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in front-end and back-end engineering with one area emphasized.
• Proficiency in modern web app architecture and API design.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with databases and data integration (SQL, NoSQL).
• SDLC and Agile practices including backlog refinement and testing.
• Hands-on DevSecOps experience with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Security-minded engineering and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver moderately complex features and epics end-to-end, decomposing work for yourself and small pods.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to leverage technology to improve business processes.
• Apply engineering best practices across the full stack with comprehensive tests.
• Perform and enforce high-quality peer reviews and refine team standards.
• Strengthen CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments, including canary and blue/green strategies.
• Coordinate safe rollbacks and maintain deployment/runbook documentation.
• Lead design and API/interface contract work reflecting interfacing systems.
• Instrument applications with logging, metrics, and traces and tune SLIs/SLOs.
• Analyze telemetry and performance results to identify bottlenecks and optimize.
