Job summary

Roadie is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and evolve the driver experience web apps and RoadieXD, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Operations to deliver scalable features that impact millions of deliveries.

You will design and implement full-stack features, develop APIs and services, and build internal and customer-facing tools primarily in React, Go, and Ruby on Rails, ensuring reliability and long-term maintainability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience building scalable systems and APIs in production
• Proficiency in Go, Ruby on Rails, Java, C#, or Python
• Experience with modern frontend framework, ideally React
• Track record of reliable, maintainable, well-tested software
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
• Sound technical judgment and ownership
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test full-stack features for drivers on the road
• Develop APIs and services supporting RoadieXD, geospatial capabilities, and other platform areas
• Build internal and customer-facing tools in React to scale operations
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Operations to solve logistics challenges
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions for scalability and performance
• Write clean, maintainable code with automated testing and reviews
• Improve existing systems for performance and maintainability
