Job summary

Wilcore Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build mission-critical web apps for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

You’ll design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions across the full stack, collaborating with product managers, designers, engineers, and government stakeholders in an Agile environment. You should have 4+ years in full-stack development, strong JavaScript/React/Ruby on Rails experience, REST APIs, AWS familiarity, and a commitment to accessibility and secure

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in full-stack development.
Strong experience with JavaScript, React, Ruby on Rails, and REST APIs.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508).
US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack web applications and APIs.
Build responsive, accessible UI components using modern front-end frameworks.
Develop and maintain secure backend services, business logic, and RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and design sessions.
Ensure compliance with federal accessibility, security, and quality standards.
Participate in Agile ceremonies using Kanban.
