Job summary

PlusAI is seeking a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer to own the product surface on our data and simulation platforms. You will work across the stack, from Python services to TypeScript interfaces, turning complex workflows into reliable tools used by engineers, operators and partners.

You will collaborate across teams to build scalable interfaces for data, simulations, and scenario management, with ownership and growth opportunities in a fast-moving autonomous-tech environment.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Production fullstack experience with backend services, REST APIs, SQL, and modern frontend (React/TypeScript).
• Proficient Python for services, libraries and tooling.
• Ability to turn ambiguous engineering workflows into simple, reliable interfaces.
• Demonstrated ownership and ability to drive projects end to end.
• Experience with interactive web tools (Canvas, WebGL, Electron, maps).
• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD for deployment and ops.
• Experience visualizing large datasets and telemetry in web UI.
• Experience with autonomous vehicles, robotics or simulation testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship fullstack applications end to end: Python services and REST APIs, relational modeling and frontend interfaces.
• Build scenario authoring and management tools and reproducible libraries.
• Create interfaces for large-scale simulation, drive-log replay and result browsing.
• Develop shared application foundations: authentication, multi-tenancy and API conventions.
• Contribute to Quality Management System compliance and continuous improvement.
