Qualifications

• Strong generalist engineer, comfortable owning the product lifecycle from design to deploy.
• Fluent in TypeScript with a strong eye for front-end design.
• Experience designing and maintaining backend APIs that users depend on.
• Experience shipping products for LLMs or AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Build onboarding flows for developers and their agents.
• Shape the Exa API and SDKs into a clean agentic search platform.
• Architect the API gateway for Exa requests.
• Build account, billing, and permissions surfaces for enterprise customers.
