Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Fullstack Engineer to help build and scale a new Embedded Payments team serving SaaS platforms for law firms. This player-coach role spends about 70% hands-on in code and architecture and 30% leading engineers, driving technical direction, delivery, and platform modernization.

You will design, build, and support payment-related features including processing, billing, Stripe Connect integrations, ACH/eCheck, payouts, reconciliation, PCI compliance, and money

Qualifications

• Lead Fullstack Engineer with strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Expert-level experience with C# and .NET and React/TypeScript.
• Proven leadership while remaining hands-on and hands-on in code/architecture.
• Experience building and supporting microservices and payment platforms.
• Cloud experience (Azure) and PCI-compliant payment systems understanding.

Responsibilities

• Spend ~70% hands-on in code and architecture, 30% leading engineers.

This is a true player‑coach role, spending approximately 70% hands‑on in code and architecture and 30% leading engineers, while owning technical direction, delivery, code quality, engineering standards, and platform modernization initiatives. This individual will help design, build, and support payment‑related functionality including payment processing, billing, Stripe Connect integrations, ACH/eCheck transactions, payouts, reconciliation, PCI‑compliant systems, and money movement workflows. The role will work closely with product, QA, design, and nearshore engineering teams while helping consolidate legacy payment solutions into a unified platform.
