Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer for a 06+ months contract in Seattle, onsite. You will design, develop, and maintain RESTful microservices using Java 8 and Spring Boot, deploying to Kubernetes in the cloud.

The role requires strong AWS multi-region expertise and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include architecture leadership, implementing monitoring, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a full-stack developer.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Experience with API development and microservices patterns.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and multi-region architectures.
• Familiarity with global load balancing and data replication.
• Experience with Kafka and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of design patterns (SOLID, CQRS).
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.

Immediate need for a talented Full Stack Engineer. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Seattle, WA(Onsite).

Pay Range: $40/hr - $45/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful microservices using Java 8 and Spring Boot, deploying to Kubernetes in the cloud.
• Architect and implement solutions leveraging AWS multi-region capabilities for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Lead the design and prototyping of solutions, setting standards for the team.
• Implement monitoring solutions to proactively detect and address potential issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a fullstack developer.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Experience with API development and microservice patterns.
• Strong understanding of AWS services (e.g., RDS, ECS, EKS, DynamoDB) and multi-region architectures.
• Familiarity with global load balancing and data replication strategies.
• Experience with Kafka and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of design patterns and principles (e.g., SOLID, CQRS).
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
