Qualifications

• 8 to 10+ years of software engineering experience, with preference for 10+ years.
• Strong Java backend and Angular frontend experience.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to application resiliency, vulnerability management, and support.
• Experience owning deliverables independently in large enterprise environments.
• Ability to manage multiple applications and streams of work.
• AI-assisted development experience in day-to-day engineering.
• Nice to have: Snowflake, cloud deployment experience, AML, data platforms or data lake, Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable Java / Spring Boot microservices in AKS on Azure.
• Develop API-driven workflows between internal clients and external partners.
• Build fault-tolerant data ingestion and processing pipelines with strong delivery guarantees.
• Ensure zero data loss, high availability, and strong consistency.
• Develop ledger-style services for secure recordkeeping and confidential data management.
• Architect solutions for multi-region Azure deployments with disaster recovery.
• Implement messaging, buffering, caching, and persistence using Azure services.
• Contribute to event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka, Redis, etc.

Our client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Azure, and distributed systems to help build a highly secure, fault-tolerant application that supports high-volume data ingestion, ledger-based recordkeeping, and analytics reporting.

They are also looking for developers who embraceAI-augmented software development and leverage modern coding assistants and agent-based tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining high engineering standards.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration.
