Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

No Limit is looking for a Senior Rust Engineer experienced with Fintech applications & Bitcoin development for an exciting opportunity for a critical role within our rapidly growing company.

The person filling this role will work directly with our Founders and will be responsible for helping launch a revolutionary new fintech platform using Bitcoin layer 2 for effective collateral risk management.

This is a highly technical role that requires a deep understanding of complex software architecture, robust cloud infrastructure, & decentralized open-source protocols, bitcoin and/or lightning protocols, and at least 4 years experience in Rust application development. The Engineers will also be responsible for using a range of technologies to assist in the design, build and testing of our proprietary software and open-source software which enables users to run reliably and automations that can scale. You will be working as part of a highly capable, cross-discipline, agile team who help each other learn & solve problems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain full-stack fintech applications
2. Build and manage Bitcoin-based applications with a deep adherence to a Bitcoin ethos
3. Rapid software prototyping and experimentation.
4. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
5. Track backlog development, maintenance, and prioritization
6. Channel your inner cypherpunk and embody the manifesto by Eric Hughes
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
8. Optimize and scale applications to handle growing user base and transaction volumes.
9. Develop, test, and deploy smart contracts, payment systems, and other blockchain-related technologies.
10. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and incorporate best practices.
11. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
12. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in Bitcoin, Rust, and full-stack development.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience working in a senior development role or Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering
2. 4+ years experience with web UI/UX frameworks like NextJS
3. Have deployed production level application used by business clients
4. Experience with back-end development, RESTful APIs, GraphQL/gRPC and databases (SQL and NoSQL)
5. Experience using tools and processes like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
6. Multi-cloud experience preferred (AWS, GCP, DO, Oracle)
7. Working knowledge of multiple current programming languages, collaborative software development tools (e.g. git, documentation, LLMs and communication systems), software design patterns, and algorithms

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Based and live in Florida.
2. Experience with Bitcoin Lightning Network protocol within the past 2 years.
3. Experience developing in the financial sector or fintech industry.
4. Contributions to open-source projects, particularly in the Bitcoin or DeFi space, is a huge plus.
