Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

What You Will Do

1. Develop and Maintain Applications
   • Build, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable back-end services using C#/.Net.
   • Integrate with APIs such as Plaid, Dwolla, and Treasury Prime.
   • Contribute to system design to ensure performance, scalability, and security across FinTech applications.
2. Write Quality Code
   • Implement well-documented, maintainable code following software best practices.
   • Focus on automation and maintain high code quality standards.
3. Support Production Systems
   • Monitor and troubleshoot production applications to ensure high availability and quick issue resolution.
   • Work closely with front-end, QA, product, and IT teams.
   • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.
4. Focus on Security and Compliance
   • Embed security best practices and maintain compliance with FinTech regulations.

What You Will Need

1. Strong Technical Expertise
   • Solid foundation in design patterns, software development best practices, and principles like SOLID and Clean Code.
   • Proficiency in:
   • Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs)
   • Modern front-end & server-side technologies (Node.js, React)
   • Familiarity with:
   • Asynchronous microservices architecture and distributed systems.
2. Commitment to Software Quality
   • Hands-on experience with:
   • Unit testing, mocking, and integration testing
   • Ensuring code coverage
   • Familiarity with:
   • CI/CD pipelines (especially in Azure DevOps)
   • Version control systems (Git)
3. Experience and Education
   • 6+ years of back-end software development experience.
   • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
4. Collaboration and Communication
   • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
   • Ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
   • Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a collaborative, dynamic team environment.
