Job summary

Storm3 partners with a fast-growing healthcare technology company to scale backend services and ship Generative AI/LLM workflows in production. The Senior Software Engineer will focus on building scalable backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure, leveraging FastAPI, PostgreSQL/MongoDB, Docker, and AWS.

You will prototype quickly, then harden for reliability, security, and scale, while collaborating cross-functionally and mentoring teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years backend engineering experience.
• Experience shipping in high-growth environments.
• Distributed systems and data-heavy architecture experience.
• Production GenAI/LLM experience (or strong interest).

Overview

We’re partnering with a fast-growing healthcare technology company building an AI-driven platform that reduces clinician admin work in in-home care, enabling more time with patients. The product is already used in real clinical workflows at scale, and the team is expanding LLM-powered automation across the platform.

The Role

They’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer to scale core backend services and ship new Generative AI / LLM workflows into production.

What You’ll Do

• Build and scale backend services (e.g., FastAPI, Postgres/MongoDB)
• Develop APIs and infrastructure integrating with LLMs / GenAI
• Prototype quickly, then harden systems for reliability, security, and scale
• Improve architecture, observability, and engineering standards
• Deploy services with Docker and AWS
• Collaborate cross-functionally; mentor as needed
