Job summary

Cenevo specializes in lab management systems, automation, and AI-enabled tools for life sciences. We seek a seasoned Full Stack Developer proficient in Ruby on Rails to join our R&D team and help shape the Labguru platform for researchers worldwide.

You will design and implement APIs, work in an agile environment, and collaborate with product and management to deliver high-quality software in a distributed global team.

Full Stack Developer
– Ruby on Rails

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced full stack developer versed in Ruby on Rails to join our R&D team, working at the forefront of life science research platforms. If you are passionate about high quality code, software design and modern web technologies, your place is with us. You will work with an agile team of passionate developers and create the best ever platform for researchers and laboratories.

As a veteran engineer, you will be a key player in designing and implementing future releases of Labguru™, developing the platform APIs, and constantly improving our service. You will work closely with product and management to ensure that we provide the best service to our growing community.

Experience

• A Must – At least 3 years of work experience in web development with a solid understanding of backend and frontend aspects.
• A Must – Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with at least a few of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Hotwire, React, AWS, CI/CD, Git.
• Experience with Docker (advantage).
• Experience with MySQL (advantage).
• Experience with ElasticSearch (advantage).
• Experience working with AI tools to accelerate development (e.g., AI-assisted coding, code review, or testing).
• Experience with integrating AI workflows into the product SDLC and development process (nice to have)
