Job Description

Job Responsibilities

1. Designing, developing, and implementing software applications.
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems.
3. Mentoring junior software engineers and providing technical guidance.
4. Contributing to the development of software architecture and design patterns.
5. Develop and maintain server-side and front-end code for web applications.
6. Collaborate with designers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of web applications.
7. Write clean, efficient, and secure code to implement new features and functionalities.
8. Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or identified through testing and monitoring.
9. Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, implementing caching mechanisms, and improving database queries.
10. Ensure the scalability and reliability of backend systems by designing and implementing appropriate architecture and infrastructure.
11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement APIs and web services for seamless integration with external systems.
12. Implement and maintain database schemas, tables, and queries to support application functionality and data storage requirements.
13. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
14. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes and techniques.
15. Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
16. Document technical specifications, system architecture, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure maintainability of applications.
17. Work closely with the QA team to identify and resolve bugs, perform testing, and ensure the overall quality of the backend codebase.
18. Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy applications, monitor system performance, and ensure high availability and scalability of backend infrastructure.
19. Provide technical support and assistance to resolve production issues and maintain service level agreements.

Other Information

1. Your work hours have some overlap with EU business hours (we require your local timezone to be within CET +/- 2h).
2. Salary Range 40,000 to 80,000 BDT (Mid Level, depending on your skill)
3. Salary Range 80,000 to 140,000 BDT (Senior, depending on your skill)
