Liviniti is currently seeking a Full Stack Developer (with Vue.js focus) to join our Technology Development Team! Our technology is built on the .NET stack. We use Azure DevOps and an agile development life cycle. Our developers work on many projects: a proprietary CRM built for customer management and business automation, client- and member-facing portals, iOS and Android mobile apps, and APIs.

Knowledge and experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management is preferred!

This is a fully remote/work from home position.

Role and Responsibilities

The Full Stack Developer with Vue.js Focus at Liviniti plays a pivotal role in driving technological advancement within our organization. Operating at the intersection of innovation and efficiency, this position entails ensuring the highest standards and adherence to industry best practices. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, the Full Stack Developer with Vue.js Focus transforms business requirements into robust technical solutions, leveraging the .NET stack and Azure platform to architect and optimize database structures. By implementing backend functionalities and business logic with precision, they ensure the accuracy and compliance of our adjudication system with regulatory standards. Furthermore, this role involves advising leadership and the technology team on project progress and enhancement opportunities. With a commitment to HIPAA regulations, the Full Stack Developer with Vue.js Focus is integral in safeguarding Protected Health Information (PHI). Embracing a dynamic environment, they demonstrate adaptability and a proactive approach in tackling both ongoing and special projects. The following responsibilities further define the key job functions with a focus on the following:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality full-stack web applications using Vue.js and .NET Core web API.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize application and API for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
  • Ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Implement backend functionalities and business logic to support the business processes.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
  • Abide by all obligations under HIPAA related to Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • Attend, complete, and demonstrate competency in all required HIPAA Training offered by the company.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Proven experience with Vue.js and its core principles.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with back-end services.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm).
  • Strong understanding of version control systems, specifically Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

  • Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT. We cover clients from the West to the East Coast, work times must be adjusted to cover meetings in all time zones. Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays pursuant to industry demands.

Travel

This position may require minimal travel (1% - 5%) from their remote location.

Required Education and Experience

  • Software engineering experience
  • Software engineering experience in a healthcare finance setting, preferred

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of server-side rendering and its benefits.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of prescription claim electronic data interchange, along with the overall reimbursement cycle for pharmacies.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy management, especially around adjudication, formularies, and pricing, is a significant plus.
