LexisNexis Reed Tech in the United States is seeking a software engineer to translate product requirements into effective, well-tested solutions. You will design program flows, implement features, and unit test code within a focused software domain while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

In this role you will interface with colleagues to finalize requirements, write detailed specifications, and translate complex data models into robust designs.

Formación

• Proficiency with data manipulation languages.
• Understanding of data modeling principles.
• Ability to work with complex data models.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, and React.
• Familiarity with code coverage and industry best practices.
• Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall development.
• Knowledge of test-driven development.

Responsabilidades

• Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
• Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
• Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
• Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
• Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Resolve technical issues as necessary.
• Complete bug fixes.
