Job summary

AerSale is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our Application Development team in Doral, FL. You will design, build, and maintain internal web applications and APIs supporting MRO, asset management, and back-office workflows.

You will work across the full stack from React front ends to Python/Django services and SQL Server data layers, contributing to AI-enabled applications and agent workflows. This hands-on role involves collaborating with a small, distributed team, participating in code

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional full stack development experience.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to work independently on defined features while collaborating with a distributed team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Develop and support back-end services and APIs using Python/Django with REST and GraphQL endpoints.
• Design and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and views.
• Integrate applications with AerSale's core systems, including ERP and third-party platforms.
• Contribute to AI-enabled features, including prompts, embeddings, and agent workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD deployment on Azure App Services.
• Translate business requirements into working software and document APIs and runbooks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and legacy applications.

Job Profile Summary

AerSale is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our Application Development team in Doral, FL. In this role you will design, build, and maintain the internal web applications and APIs that support AerSale's aviation aftermarket operations — spanning MRO, asset management, and back-office workflows. You will work across the full stack, from React front ends to Python/Django services and SQL Server data layers, and will contribute to our growing portfolio of AI-enabled applications and intelligent agent workflows. This is a hands‑on development role on a small, collaborative team where your work reaches users directly and quickly.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive, component-driven front‑end applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Develop and support back‑end services and APIs using Python and Django, including REST and GraphQL endpoints.
• Design, write, and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and views; work with the data team on schema and integration design.
• Integrate applications with AerSale's core business systems, including our Pentagon 2000 ERP and third‑party platforms.
• Contribute to AI‑enabled application features — LLM integrations, prompt design, retrieval workflows, and agent‑driven automation — with support and direction from senior team members.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD deployment processes on Azure App Services.
• Translate business requirements from stakeholders across engineering, quality, operations, and finance into working software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including support of existing legacy internal applications.
• Document technical designs, APIs, and operational runbooks.

Education And Experience

• 3–5 years of professional full stack software development experience
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Ability to work independently on defined features while collaborating closely with a distributed developer team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working directly with non‑technical business users
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Front End

• Strong React proficiency — hooks, component architecture, state management, consuming APIs; solid HTML/CSS and modern JavaScript (TypeScript a plus).

Back End

• Hands‑on Python experience with the Django framework; experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

GraphQL

• Practical experience designing or consuming GraphQL APIs (Graphene, Strawberry, Apollo, or similar).

Database

• Working proficiency in SQL, specifically Microsoft SQL Server — writing complex queries, joins, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

AI/ML Familiarity

• Demonstrated exposure to building with large language models or AI APIs — for example integrating OpenAI/Anthropic/Azure AI services, prompt engineering, embeddings and vector search, or AI agent frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure — App Services, Azure SQL, Azure AI Foundry, Azure DevOps.
• Experience with ERP system integration (Pentagon 2000, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or modern data platform tooling.
• Experience with Docker, containerized deployments, or infrastructure-as-code.
• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers or agentic AI architecture patterns.
• Automated testing experience (pytest, Jest, React Testing Library).
• Aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial/logistics industry background.
