Job summary

Bespoke Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to support middleware and backend services, with strong Java, JUnit testing, and experience in big data pipelines and tools such as Spark, Iceberg, HBase, and Snowflake.

This role requires active Poly clearance; candidates with the clearance will join a backend-focused team in Chantilly, VA, delivering scalable data solutions and performing Solr/Elastic search optimization and schema updates.

Qualifications

• Strong Java development and JUnit testing experience.
• 3+ years in big data environments with Hadoop, PySpark, Spark, or HBase.
• Solid Solr or Elasticsearch expertise including Lucene queries.
• Experience with Solr/Elastic shards and performance tuning.
• Ability to perform schema updates.
• College degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Bespoke Technologies is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to support a backend development team focused on middleware and backend services. This role requires Java programming expertise with JUnit testing and experience with big data pipeline technologies, such as Spark, Iceberg, HBase, and Snowflake.

Mandatory Skills

• Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years)

  • Possessing significant knowledge & experience in submitting Lucene queries
  
  
  • Possessing significant knowledge & experience on how Solr/Elastic shards work
  
  
  • Possessing significant experience tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization
  
  
  
  


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, PySpark, Spark, and HBase (prefer at least two of the list)


• College degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree

Optional Skills

• Demonstrated experience working with several AWS services.


• Demonstrated experience with JIRA and GITHUB.
