Job summary

Fitch Group is seeking a Software Engineer, Full Stack - AI, in New York. You will work on an enterprise portal using React, micro-frontends, micro-services, and event-driven architecture.

Build Java micro-services, produce/consume Kafka topics, and collaborate on the CI/CD pipeline with DevOps. The role demands 2+ years in software engineering, strong Python/AWS data services experience, and proficiency in SQL, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, and modern data formats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with AWS data services (Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB) and Python (PySpark, Pandas, FastAPI).
• Strong SQL with performance tuning across relational/analytical DBs.
• Experience with Kafka and Airflow.
• Experience with Snowflake and modern table formats (Iceberg/Delta Lake).
• Knowledge of data governance tools (Collibra/Alation) and data mesh concepts.
• Design/build REST or GraphQL APIs with data/ML features.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants to accelerate development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise web applications in an agile team.
• Build internal portal with React, micro-frontend, micro-services and event-driven architecture.
• Develop Java micro-services and integrate with Kafka pipelines.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines with DevOps and squads.
• Provide production support and mentor team on React/micro-frontend.
