Job summary

Amazon is hiring a full-stack Software Development Engineer in Austin, TX. You will work across the product, UX, agent orchestration, context systems, and foundation model integration to build end-to-end experiences for AI-powered platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded distributed software applications and services
• 1+ years of OO design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/Math or related field
• Experience programming with at least one software language

Responsibilities

• Engineer end-to-end, full-stack experiences across the stack with front-end interfaces and back-end services
• Build and maintain the agent orchestration and execution layer for reliable routing between AI models and context systems
• Define interfaces between systems to create integrated customer experiences
• Plan, estimate, and drive delivery with autonomy and accountability
• Prototype rapidly and iterate with customers to validate hypotheses
• Mentor engineers and foster ownership and learning
• Drive operational excellence including reliability, performance, and security of services
