Job summary

Leidos is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Developer in Ashburn, VA to architect, build, and enhance scalable real-time systems for CBP. The role requires collaboration across teams to meet mission-critical objectives and maintain agile delivery.

You will work with modern front-end frameworks (React/Angular), RESTful APIs, JWT, and microservices while leveraging Konvoy for containerized deployments and cloud readiness. This position is on-site in Ashburn, with frequent in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree and 12 years of related experience or Master’s with 10 years of related experience; OR 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain CBP background investigation prior to start.
• Experience with AI/ML as part of the software lifecycle and/or AI/ML solutions.
• Experience with Agile Scrum in a SecDevOps environment.
• Experience with containerized apps using Konvoy.
• 3+ years’ experience developing cloud-ready apps and/or migrating apps to the cloud.
• 2+ years in Java/JSF/JavaScript/Spring; or automated test tools (e.g., Selenium).
• 2+ years in at least 2 of React, Angular, Redux, HTML, CSS, ES6, JWT, JSON, Webpack, Node; strong DOM/JS concepts.
• 2+ years in Microservices/RESTful APIs; proficient with Axios for rest services.
• Hands-on HTML/CSS/Bootstrap; modern authorization mechanisms like JWT.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, build, and deliver scalable real-time systems supporting CBP mission needs.
• Lead major deliverables through the SDLC including estimation, architecture, coding, and testing.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure secure, compliant, and timely delivery of software.
