Job summary

Elliptic is building AI-powered tools that enable the business to scale faster and with greater confidence. As an Agent Engineer on the Operations team, you will help design and deliver scalable services powering Elliptic’s internal systems and agent platforms.

You will collaborate with the Head of Business Transformation to turn complex processes into intelligent, user-friendly experiences that boost team productivity and confidence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience, with Python preferred.
• 1 year of experience with LangSmith or other comparable LLM/AI frameworks.
• Strong API design skills with production APIs.
• Cloud experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3).
• Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes is a must.
• Database proficiency with SQL (Postgres or similar) and exposure to NoSQL.
• Structured problem-solving approach and clear thinking.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of agent fleets to model complex business processes in Langchain.
• Develop APIs and workflows that integrate AI and LLM frameworks with business systems.
• Design, optimise, and query data models across relational and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver an agentic platform from concept through production.
• Participate in technical design reviews, planning sessions, and code reviews to improve quality.
• Contribute to infrastructure and observability practices alongside the Engineering team.
