Job summary

G&J Pepsi is seeking a Full-Service Driver to deliver and merchandise products to retailer locations, following established standards to boost sales and profits.

You will operate pallets jacks and related equipment, train new drivers, and maintain accurate paperwork while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Minimum 6+ months of experience in a related role.
• Must be insurable to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

To serve our customers by delivering and merchandising products to retailer locations according to established standards designed to increase company sales and profits.

Essential Functions

• Orders, delivers, stocks and rotates all products at customer locations.
• Invoices customers for sales, collects payment from customers and secures payment in safe.
• Maintains a good working relationship with customers, account and area managers at Pepsi, and other internal employees at Pepsi.
• Effectively communicates with retailers, Pepsi management team, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Adheres to all company policies, standards, and procedures.
• Maintains and completes required paperwork (e.g. Missed Time Verification forms, time off requests, mileage logs, sales reports, invoices).
• Maintains confidentiality of product pricing, customer key locations, and other sensitive information.
• Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands.
• Trains new employees to perform Full-Service Driver job duties in accordance with established standards.
• Maintain vendor cleanliness and standards; report any repair work needed to service department; perform basic vendor maintenance as needed.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), including motorized pallet jacks and walkie riders.
• Performs other related duties as required.
