Job summary

G&J Pepsi is hiring a Merchandiser to stock, rotate, and display products at retailer locations in the Kentucky region. You will ensure displays meet standards and work closely with store staff to maximize sales and profitability.

The role requires 0–1 year merchandising experience and a high school diploma or GED. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift heavy product are essential for daily duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and display products to standards at retailer locations.
• Adhere to policies, wear PPE, and maintain safety.
• Communicate with retailers, Pepsi management and co-workers.
• Assist and interact with consumers at retailer locations.
• Keep backrooms clean and organized and handle alcohol products.
• Complete daily logs, mileage, and time-off paperwork.
• Collaborate with Account Manager to boost sales using POS materials.
• Work assigned schedule, with attendance and overtime as required.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Position Summary

To serve our customers by merchandising our products at retailer locations according to established standards in order to increase company sales and profits.

Essential Functions

• Stocks, rotates, and displays all products to established standards (e.g. coolers, vendors, shelves).
• Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures and wears all required personal protective equipment.
• Effectively communicate with retailers, Pepsi management and co-workers.
• Assists and interacts with consumers at retailer locations.
• Maintains a clean, neat and organized backroom at retailer locations
• This position involves handling, stocking, and organizing alcohol products.
• Maintains confidentiality of pricing, customer information and other sensitive and confidential information.
• Completes daily merchandiser logs, mileage reports, store and vendor logs, time-off requests and other paperwork as required.
• Works in conjunction with Account Manager and Store Management to identify opportunities to increase the sales and profitability of the company through proper use of Point Of Sale materials, communication of price/value and securing displays.
• Assists Account Manager as needed
• Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Education Level

High School or GED

Experience

Years of Experience – 0 – 1 years merchandising /stocking experience, and previous customer service experience in a retail and/or warehouse setting.

Certifications & Licenses

Valid Driver's license; employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment.

Ability to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed.
