• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense and civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Represent insurance carriers, businesses, and insured clients in litigation proceedings.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other legal documents.

Conduct depositions, attend hearings, participate in mediations, and assist with trial preparation.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California, in good standing.
• 2+ years of experience in insurance defense, civil litigation, or related litigation practice areas.
• Experience handling litigation matters independently, including discovery, motion practice, and case strategy.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 – $250,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
