Job summary

Intermedia Group, Inc. is seeking a DATA CONVERSION VALIDATOR for a Workday implementation. This fully remote role supports a NYC client on a 12-month+ engagement.

You will validate data conversions from PeopleSoft to Workday, reconciling records, refining crosswalks, and producing validation reports to ensure no data loss. You will work with the Budget team and other stakeholders to certify readiness for go-live, supporting UAT and sign-off activities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years developing and executing data extraction and transformation for Budget and Finance.
• 7+ years experience mapping PeopleSoft data fields to Workday equivalents and resolving inconsistencies.
• 7+ years experience implementing ETL tools and validating data accuracy post-migration.

Responsibilities

• Perform record-by-record reconciliation, aggregate totals validation, and exception identification to ensure no data loss or corruption during the PeopleSoft-to-Workday migration
• Refine data crosswalks showing PeopleSoft field equivalents, data type conversions, formula translations, and Workday FDM integration points
• Identify data quality issues, unmapped fields, transformation failures, and process deviations between legacy and target systems
• Review and validate how PeopleSoft budget data integrates into Workday via Financial Data Model, ensuring compliance with FDM schema requirements
• Document validation findings and remediation steps. Prepare detailed validation reports with exception logs, root cause analysis, and recommended corrective actions for data issues
• Work closely with other teams to identify and solve issues.
• Support UAT and sign-off activities & Collaborate with Budget team members and project stakeholders to validate reconciliation results and certify readiness for go-live

TITLE:DATA CONVERSION VALIDATOR

TYPE: Either w2 or Corp to Corp

LOCATION:FULLY REMOTE (Client is in NYC)

DURATION: 12 months +

SUMMARY

• For a Workday Implementation, this project is to developData Conversion Validation to support the Budget team during the migration of budgeting and commitment control data from PeopleSoft to Workday.

• 7 years +experience optimizing SQL queries, Application Engine, and SQR scripts for efficient data migration.
• 7 years +experience mapping PeopleSoft data fields to Workday equivalents and resolving inconsistencies.
• 7 years +experience implementing ETL tools and validating data accuracy post-migration.
• 7 years +experience collaborating with functional teams and Workday consultants for seamless transition.
• 7 years + experience developing and maintaining clear and consistent documentation for data and conversion processes and procedures.
• 7 years + experience working collaboratively with various technical teams such as Peoplesoft, Workday, database administrators, cybersecurity analysts to ensure comprehensive identity management practices.
