Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a Culinary Aide / Wait Staff to support our not-for-profit retirement community. You will assist in the preparation and serving of quality meals to residents, guests, and employees under sanitary conditions.

The role includes Full Time/Part Time weekends with shifts from 6:30am to 1:30pm. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and 0–2 years of food service experience in a Long-Term Care environment. DailyPay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a smile and provide great customer service to residents, partners, and guests.
• Must have good attendance and take ownership in neighborhoods.
• Must work with nursing staff to serve residents; maintain sanitary kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up all menu items according to standards.
• Serve meals to residents in a courteous, timely manner.
• Scrape and clean dishes; load/unload dish machine; hand wash pots and pans.
