Job summary

Volanteus | Aircraft Charter seeks an experienced Accountant to own U.S. financial operations, from bookkeeping through close and reporting, coordinating with the UK finance team. You will manage Xero-based month-end close, Paylocity payroll, intercompany reconciliations, and compliance across multi-state filings.

This sole-charge role requires strong accounting knowledge, independent work style, and excellent communication to liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 5–7 years of hands-on full-cycle accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing and compliance.
• Proficiency with Xero and Paylocity preferred.
• Strong internal controls and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end U.S. financial reporting cycle in Xero from entries to close.
• Manage payroll processing via Paylocity and ensure compliance.
• Perform intercompany reporting and reconciliations with UK.
• Handle bank, credit card reconciliations, AP/AR, and wire payments.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
• Assist audits and maintain internal controls documentation.
