Rural Power Systems is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own full-cycle recruiting for technical and support roles. You will partner with hiring managers, define requirements, and source active and passive candidates through diverse channels, guiding candidates from first outreach to signed offers.

You’ll build pipelines, coordinate interviews, and extend offers in collaboration with the People team. A passion for clean tech and rural communities is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Independently owned full-cycle recruiting across multiple departments.
• Proven ability to build creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles.
• Skilled at assessing technical and cultural fit for diverse teams.
• Experience using an ATS and recruiting tools to manage pipelines and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for technical and support roles from intake to offer.
• Partner with hiring managers to define requirements and sourcing plans.
• Source active and passive candidates via job boards, referrals, and networks.
• Screen resumes and conduct phone/video interviews for fit and motivation.
• Coordinate interviews with cross-functional panels and keep candidates informed.
• Build and maintain a pipeline for recurring or hard-to-fill roles.
• Extend offers and negotiate in partnership with the People team.
• Track metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire) to improve processes.
• Ensure a candidate experience aligned with RPS mission and culture.
