The City of Flagstaff is seeking an Human Resources professional to provide professional-level support across key HR functions with a strong emphasis on recruitment and onboarding. You will partner with hiring managers to attract, identify, and hire top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or two years of college coursework in Human Resources, Public or Business Administration, or related field.
• Two years of general Human Resources experience, especially in recruitment.
• PHR/SHRM-CP Certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Public or Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional-level support across HR functions, including recruitment and onboarding.
• Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process with hiring managers to attract and hire top talent.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure information in systems is up-to-date.
• Assist in developing and presenting training related to HR areas.
• Prepare correspondence to employees, applicants and outside agencies related to HR issues.
