Job summary

San Diego State University is seeking a Recruiter to join the Center for Human Resources in San Diego. The role supports full-cycle recruitment for staff and management, partnering with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition Team.

You will source candidates, guide them through interviews and onboarding, and help ensure timely and equitable processes. The position is full-time with partial telecommuting and onsite work in San Diego after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Two years of professional work experience in a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for diverse campus communities.
• Ability to learn applicant tracking and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage Full-Cycle Recruitment: Lead staff recruitments from posting through onboarding.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition Partner to plan recruitment strategies.
• Source and attract candidates through outreach, career fairs, and networks.
• Communicate proactively with candidates and managers for a positive experience.
• Contribute ideas to improve workflows, data tracking, and recruitment efficiency.
