Long Prairie Packing Company, LLC, an American Foods Group Company, seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing positions at the Long Prairie, MN facility. The role partners with facility leadership to assess hiring needs and execute short- and long-term staffing strategies aligned with company values.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in high-volume, full-cycle recruiting, strong interview and sourcing skills, and experience with iCIMS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing positions.
• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, Spanish and/or Haitian‑Creole (speaking, reading, writing).
• Prior experience in high volume recruiting in beef, protein, or food manufacturing.
• Current knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Previous experience using iCIMS applicant tracking system.
• Strong work ethic and sense of personal responsibility for outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
• Optimize recruiting processes for efficiency and candidate experience.
• Coordinate job fairs and recruiting events, on-site and off-site.
• Leverage social media and local networks to attract talent.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to align national search and branding strategies.
• Track recruiting metrics and deliver data-driven insights for improvement.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.
• Assist with new hire benefits coordination as needed.
• Build relationships with agencies, colleges, and employment partners to identify talent.
