Progressive Recruitment is seeking a General Accountant in Texas to support full-cycle AP/AR, GL maintenance, and month-end close under supervision. The role emphasizes accuracy, meeting weekly and monthly deadlines, and collaboration with project teams.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, payments, expense reports, and assisting with PO management, vendor data, and government reporting as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Hands-on AP/AR and general ledger.
• Experience with month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices for payment and three-way matching.
• Prepare weekly payment batches for review and approval.
• Process employee expense reports and corporate card statements.
• Assist with purchase orders, coding, and follow-up on outstanding PO.
