Job summary

White Circle is seeking an AI Research Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for ML/AI researchers, engineers, and infra roles. You will source from AI labs, universities, and open-source communities, and assess candidates’ research contributions.

You’ll engage highly technical candidates and help shape hiring processes that match White Circle’s research agenda, growth, and impact in AI safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including research and ML talent
• Ability to evaluate technical depth and publications, open-source work, and production systems
• Strong networking across US and European AI/ML communities
• Clear communication of complex research roles to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruitment for ML/AI Research, Multimodal ML Engineer, Research Scientist, and ML Infra roles
• Source talent from AI labs, universities, startups, and open-source communities
• Evaluate candidates’ actual contributions and assess research depth and engineering ability
• Engage candidates not actively looking and communicate the technical significance of White Circle’s problems
• Design structured hiring processes and deliver an exceptional candidate experience
