GHJ Search and Staffing, the recruitment division of GHJ, a national accounting and advisory firm, seeks an experienced Accounting Clerk for a Southern California manufacturer. The role covers full-cycle AP/AR, invoice processing, and payments, with exposure to multiple departments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience, with AP/AR exposure.
• Full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable knowledge.
• Experience with three-way matching and vendor payments.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Industry experience in manufacturing/construction/distribution preferred.
• Degree in Accounting or related field is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to work with multiple teams.
• Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsabilités

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.
• Process vendor invoices, prepare check runs, and ensure timely payments.
• Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on schedule.
• Apply customer payments received through checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile customer and vendor accounts, researching and resolving discrepancies.
• Process authorized credits, refunds, and account adjustments.
• Maintain accurate accounting records, vendor documentation, and payment information.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Receiving, and other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Support customer credit reviews and other accounting projects as needed.
