Job summary

ZipApply is seeking a meticulous Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting for multiple real estate entities. Reporting to the CEO/Owner, you will handle AR/AP, bank reconciliations, general ledger integrity, and monthly close.

You will coordinate with owners, community managers, outside accountants, auditors, banks, vendors, insurance providers, and professional advisors; maintain records, support payroll and tax filings, and help strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications

• 2 years bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and monthly reconciliations.
• Experience performing bank reconciliations and researching discrepancies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential financial and payroll information with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain financial transactions daily.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with timely follow-through.
• Process vendor invoices, payments, resident receipts, deposits, and other accounting entries.
• Maintain general ledger integrity across multiple entities.
• Review transactions for completeness, proper coding, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with cash management and banking activities.
