Job summary

A Confidential employer in Mount Vernon is seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. This role requires someone who can independently manage the full accounting cycle and support a busy technical operation.

You will handle accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, payroll, and internal financial statements. The position includes job costing, budgeting, cash flow tracking, and liaison with a CPA for taxes and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including:
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• General ledger entries and maintenance
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Month-end and year-end closing
• Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records
• Prepare internal financial statements and management reports
• Maintain job costing and project accounting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
• Coordinate with external CPA for tax filings and audits
• Maintain organized and compliant financial records
• Provide general administrative support as needed
