Candidates should have extensive QuickBooks Desktop experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to support budgeting, tax compliance, and CPA collaboration. This position offers growth in a close-knit, locally focused roofing company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong bookkeeping and accounting experience.
• Extensive experience with QuickBooks Desktop.
• Payroll, job costing, and tax knowledge.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Small-business HR experience preferred.
• Construction accounting or QuickBooks integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Provide full-charge bookkeeping
• Maintain financial records, reports, and ledgers
• Assist with budgeting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Help maintain accurate accounting processes
• Provide financial information to leadership
• Work with CPA under direction
• Serve as an HR Generalist, including payroll through a PEO
• Recruiting, onboarding, documentation, and separations
• Support HR administration and applicant tracking
• Assist with collections and related accounting tasks
