PATH MEDICAL SUPPLY is seeking a highly organized Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Deerfield Beach, FL. This role manages full-cycle bookkeeping, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage or similar systems, strong Excel skills, and the ability to handle confidential payroll data through ADP or UltiPro.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles with a strong understanding of corporate accounting principles.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of GAAP standards as well as governmental accounting practices is highly desirable.
• Experience working with financial systems like Workday, Paychex, Kronos, ADP, UltiPro or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong technical accounting skills including journal entries, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, debits & credits, and general ledger management.
• Excellent numeracy skills combined with math proficiency for accurate account analysis and credit assessments.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially while maintaining high levels of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
• Demonstrated ability to perform Excel data analysis using spreadsheets for reporting and financial review purposes.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all transactions adhere to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and internal policies.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports on a regular basis.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar systems to record and analyze financial data efficiently.
• Conduct account analysis and account reconciliation to verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Handle confidential information with integrity while managing payroll processing through systems like ADP or UltiPro.
• Support internal controls and compliance measures related to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements and governmental accounting standards.
• Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost analysis to aid strategic decision-making.
• Perform data entry with high accuracy using 10-key typing skills and double-entry bookkeeping techniques.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial records.
