Arkansas Talent Group is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper for a well-established CPA firm in Little Rock, Arkansas. This contract-to-permanent role focuses on managing the full bookkeeping cycle for a diverse client base within a professional-services environment.

The ideal candidate will handle multi-entity accounting, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting, using QuickBooks to navigate multiple company files efficiently.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, or client accounting experience.
• Experience supporting multiple clients/entities or company files; CPA/firm experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online/Desktop including GL management, reconciliations, reporting, payroll, and file maintenance.
• Experience with payroll processing and payroll tax reporting for one or more businesses.
• Solid understanding of A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, GL, payroll liabilities, and financial statement prep.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple client entities.
• Maintain ledgers, chart-of-accounts, account coding, and financial records.
• Process A/P and A/R including invoices, billing, cash receipts, and payments.
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end reconciliations and postings.
• Prepare journal entries including accruals, depreciation, and payroll entries.
• Produce monthly/quarterly/year-end financial statements and schedules.
• Handle multi-entity accounting activities and intercompany reconciliations.
• Process payroll for multiple clients and related reporting.
• Assist with payroll tax filings, W-2, 1099, and related compliance.
• Maintain organized client files per firm procedures.
